  • You are moving to a region and working in information technology OR you are responding to a labor shortage

  • You speak French

Valérie's advice

If you really want to come to Quebec, follow these few tips:

1

Reach the minimum threshold on the RSWP selection grid:
50 points if single, 59 points if you have a spouse.

2

Obtain around 600 points on the extraction grid with or without a validated job offer with a Quebec employer.

Just because you get the points to pass the selection thresholds or extraction thresholds does not mean you will necessarily be selected. Only candidates who respond to a labor shortage in specific training courses will be invited.

3

Also check what steps you must take to be able to practice your profession in Quebec.

4

If necessary, carry out a comparative evaluation of your diplomas in Quebec, to do this follow the instructions on the following link:

5

Take the French exam to demonstrate your level of knowledge and obtain points for selection, unless you have obtained the French baccalaureate, the Belgian CESS or the Swiss maturity certificate and only under certain conditions:

6

If you meet all the conditions to receive an invitation, you must submit a 'declaration of interest' on the Arrima Portal:
